This one is easy to obtain, and can be done in any area where there's a "Shadow" puzzle involved.
Your first shadow puzzle will be in the Main Hall of the Main House. You will first have access to the Main Hall after your fight with Jack in the garage. Climb the ladder to escape the garage and grab the "Bull Statue" key item on your way out. This item allows Ethan to unlock the large locked double doors at the end of the hallway in the kitchen area.
In the Main Hall, you will immediately see the projector with the shadow puzzle in front of you. If you interact with the stand, you now have the opportunity to place an object here. Simply pick any object to put on the stand and start turning it as if you were trying to solve the puzzle.
The achievement should unlock as soon as you start to fiddle around with the object. If not, back out of trying to "solve" the puzzle. If you missed doing this achievement at this location, there will be other opportunities later on, as this can be done at ANY area with these shadow based puzzles.
