Very straightforward achievement. Starting with mission 2, with the heart wielded, point the cursor at any person and activate the heart. You'll get a short dialogue about their past, usually (although not always) a bit dark. Repeat this for 40 different people to unlock the achievement. Can be completed entirely within mission 2 or spread across the rest of the game.
