  *** Spoiler - click to reveal ***After you have the sword from the ghost, you'll need to dive in the lake to retrieve the object down there. After coming back up, proceed down the path and inspect the stone pillars. You'll place the object there, and a big energy of light will appear. Approach the light without a special ring, and it will be too much for you to handle and burn your body with the power of an achievement.

  *** Spoiler - click to reveal ***To get the sword you have to give him a flower I believe. It's in the caves that you get to by messing with the knobs on the tree. You have to go right, left, and right to get to a pirate ship. On the pirate ship you need to get a knife. After you have the knife you can go back to the beginning, and instead of going right go forward this time. You'll have a choice to go left or right. You'll need to go right, but before that happens you're attacked and use the knife to kill it. I'm not sure if you have to choose right again, but if so do that and you'll find the flower you need to give to the ghost to get the sword. I think you need to talk to him first before it will let you pick it up though, not entirely sure.
