The tutorial cannot be completed on Expert mode (you may still get some tutorial options in Expert mode, but it's not the full tutorial). To unlock this achievement, start a game in Casual or Normal mode, choose to follow the Tutorial when prompted. The tutorial runs through the prologue and into the beginning of Chapter 1. The achievement will unlock after the first Hidden Object puzzle toward the start of Chapter 1.
