From time to time you will come to a floor with a red flashing light and a broken Elevator Panel. If you do not have any crafting materials in your inventory, you will be forced to fix the panel with your blood, sweat and tears. So in short, use up all of your crafting materials before trying for this achievement. If you fail, it will use up a lot of your hunger bar. Keep trying until you succeed.
